All British Car Day, Boerne, TX Nov. 3, 2007
| It started out as an overcast day, but the sun finally broke through and people were actually looking for shade during the awards ceremony. While the turnout was not stupendous, we had a good crew of fine people and some beautiful cars. A hearty contingent of STTA members worked hard and kept the show moving with a minimum of glitches. Congrats and many thanks to those who helped make the day a success. We actually stayed in the black and had some leftover T-Shirts. Now's your chance to get a bargain. We almost couldn't find the electrical outlets, but, thanks to one tall Dirk Mosis, we found them in the ceiling of the Gazebo and were able to make coffee, run the computer, which we abandoned, and the boom box. Seven hours after the first arrival, we packed our trunks, trailers and back seats and headed for home, or a bar, or whatever. It was a good day and the guests seemed to have a good time. If you missed it, maybe next time, if there is a next time. Thanks to Bryan Prindle of Alamo MG Association for the pics below. |
