| It all began shortly after 8:00 AM. The first one there was the man in charge of the drive after the Award Ceremony. I followed him by a minute. Little by little, our gang began to arrive. In all, we had 22 members attend. They were George Cahlik, Richard and Linda Conn, Mike Connally, Sonny and Jackie Falbo, Paul and Kathie Hulka, Joe Kboudi, Kent Kinard, Xavier King, Bob and Cathy Leonard, Ken and Judy Maynard, Brad Peace, Mike and Marilyn Potts, Bob and Barbara Rolfes, Tom Schwennesen and Ed Ziegenhorn. It was great to have Kent Kinard come down from Sterling City. He said he was grateful that the event was on Saturday. It is often on Sunday and that makes it hard for a preacher to attend. I was also very gratifying to see Bob and Barbara Rolfes. We missed you guys.
We took four plaques from the event. Bob Leonard won 2nd place in the TR3 group; Joe Kboudi placed 1st, Mike Connally 2nd and Brad Peace 3rd in the TR6 class. Honorable Mention went to Xavier King in the TR7/TR8 & GT6 class, and Bob Leonard in the Jaguar class. There was a little discrepancy about these HM awards which Bob Leonard can best express. Bob had a nice touch in his TR3. The classic English Picnic Basket in the Boot. I gotta get me one of those.
